This course is designed for inspectors seeking training in structural wood inspections and covers lateral design concepts, IBC requirements, wood material standards, plan reading, and exam preparation. The course includes quizzes, a final exam, and guidance on the WABO exam application process. A field trip to the Simpson Strong-Tie facility in Kent for an ATS hold-down presentation is also planned (date and time TBD).
