Trainings focus on increasing understanding of wildfire vulnerabilities, wildland-urban interface codes, land use planning policies and best practices to reduce wildfire risk, and more. Includes peer learning opportunities and presentations from national, state, and local experts. This all-day, in person trainings are open to land use planners, fire marshals, fire chiefs, mitigation specialists, building officials, and other professionals engaged in planning, development review, fire mitigation, and similar activities in Washington.
