A refresher course for the 2018 Washington State Energy Code prior to the adoption of the 2018 codes on February 1, 2021

We are pleased to announce that Mike Lubliner from the Washington State Energy Code and Lisa Rosenow from Evergreen Technology, will be providing a high level refresher and Q&A course for everyone interested. Please go to some of the pre-recordings that Mike Lubliner (for the residential code) and the pre-recordings that Lisa Rosenow has made prior to attending this class and have questions for them prepared!

About our presenters:

Michael Lubliner

Michael Lubliner has worked in the energy conservation and renewable energy field for over 35 years, starting his career as the Pacific Northwest regional distributor for Grumman, Bio-Energy Systems and other renewable energy products. In 1983, Lubliner began working for the Washington State Energy Office, where he helped develop, implement, evaluate, and refine the Northwest Power Planning Council’s Model Conservation Standards, state energy codes, and Super Good Cents site-built and manufactured housing programs. He works in support of the U.S. DOE Building America Program and the U.S. EPA ENERGY STAR Program. Lubliner has a B.S. in energy engineering from The Evergreen State College.

Lisa Rosenow

Director – Energy Code Services

Lisa manages the technical support program for the commercial WA State Energy Code (WSEC) for the Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (NEEA) Codes and Standards program. She has been in this role since 2011. Prior to her involvement with the WSEC, Lisa was a mechanical engineering designer for 15 years. Applying this combined experience, Lisa is adept at developing effective educational content, resources and technical tools to promote energy conservation.

She is an instructor and technical advisor, supporting energy code compliance through advocacy and industry education. She is involved with energy code development, having participated as a voting member of the WSEC Technical Advisory Committee for the 2015 & 2018 WSEC.

Through daily interactions providing technical assistance to a diverse cross-section of the industry, Lisa offers a balanced perspective and insight into industry needs for energy efficiency program stakeholders. Lisa has a BSME and is a certified Sustainable Building Advisor (CSBA).
